Former Colts TE Dallas Clark attending Tight End University

Former Indianapolis Colts’ tight end Dallas Clark is taking part in the 2026 Tight End University.

Tight End University (TEU) was founded in 2021 by George Kittle, Travis Kelce, and Greg Olsen. It is a three-day program that includes tight ends from around the NFL who will be in attendance, along with some former players, like Clark and Greg Olsen.

“Over the course of the summit, attendees are able to bond, collaborate with, and learn amongst their peers while participating in a variety of activities including film study, on-field drills, recovery, rehabilitation, and more,” says the TEU site. “In addition to current players, TEU also features several retired legends who provide attendees with the invaluable opportunity to learn from some of the best to ever play the game.”

TEU also gives back to the community by raising money for various organizations with the help of sponsors.

Clark is among those at the event sharing his wisdom. When Clark was asked to explain what a tight end does, he simply replied, “Everything.”

On the Colts current roster is a tight end who can do it all in Tyler Warren. That well-rounded skill set allows Warren to impact the offense in a variety of ways and adds a level of unpredictability to that unit.

Clark was a first-round pick of the Colts in the 2003 NFL draft out of Iowa. He spent his first nine seasons with the Colts, playing with the team from 2003 through 2011.

During the span, Clark was an integral part of the Colts’ passing game and a key member of their Super Bowl winning team from the 2006 season. In that playoff run, Clark eclipsed the 100-yard receiving mark in two games, catching 21 passes in total for 317 yards.

In 2009, Clark was named a Pro Bowler and an All-Pro, catching 100 passes and recording over 1,100 receiving yards, along with scoring eight touchdowns.

Clark concluded his run with the Colts totaling 427 receptions and 46 touchdowns, both of which are the most in franchise history at the tight end position. Clark’s 4,887 receiving yards are the second-most.

Clark is a member of the Colts’ Ring of Honor.
