WEST LAFAYETTE, IN — A representative of Faith Presbyterian Church at 3318 Indiana 26 W. in West Lafayette reported Wednesday that someone pilfered roughly $4,400 of church money, according to the Tippecanoe County Sheriff’s Department.
The fraud was discovered after reviewing the church’s April transactions. One unauthorized check was found, and two unauthorized debit card transactions were found, according to the sheriff’s department.
Sheriff’s detectives are investigating the allegation of fraud.
