EVANSVILLE — City police are seeking the public’s help in locating a 15-year-old Evansville boy who was last seen by his family April 24.
The Evansville Police Department identified the boy as Jacory Copeland. According to detectives, Copeland left his family’s home in the 600 block of Taylor Avenue April 24 but has not returned since.
“Copeland frequents Zesto on Riverside and Tepe Park,” the EPD stated in a social media post seeking the public’s assistance. “If you have information on his whereabouts, please contact the Juvenile Investigations Office at 812-436-7905.”
An EPD official told the Courier & Press the department has received promising tips in recent days, including a sighting near Bosse High School and another at a local corner store. Copeland did not appear to be in immediate danger, the official said.
