The Indianapolis Colts have made a free agent addition at cornerback.
The Colts announced on Tuesday that they signed former Bengals cornerback Cam Taylor-Britt. The contract details have not been reported at this time.
Taylor-Britt has previously played under current Colts’ defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo while with the Bengals.

Taylor-Britt is a former second-round pick by the Bengals in the 2022 NFL draft and is still just 26 years old.
Through his first three seasons with the Bengals, Taylor-Britt appeared in 39 games, which included making 38 starts.
In his first two seasons, Taylor-Britt allowed a completion rate of just 54% but did give up some big plays, which includes giving up 17.2 yards per catch in 2023. He had good ball production as well during that span, totaling five interceptions and 13 pass breakups.
In 2024, quarterbacks completed 65% of their passes when targeting Taylor-Britt at 13.9 yards per catch. He did, however, come away with three interceptions and seven pass breakups, per PFF.
In this most recent season, Taylor-Britt made only two starts and appeared in eight games. His season ended in Week 11 due to a Lisfranc injury. He was also inactive for the Bengals’ Week 7 game with Pittsburgh.
Cornerback is not a huge position of need for the Colts. At the top of the depth chart are Sauce Gardner, Charvarius Ward, and Kenny Moore. Justin Walley will also be healthy this year as well.
But what the addition of Taylor-Britt does is bolster the depth, adding competition for a roster spot with Jaylon Jones, Mekhi Blackmon, and Johnathan Edwards. Taking a swing on a 26-year-old who has experience and played well at times in his career isn’t a bad idea either for the Colts.
The cornerback position was decimated by injuries during the 2025 season.
