The Colts have released their unofficial depth chart. Here’s a look at the depth chart and some takeaways:
Quarterback
First team: Daniel Jones
Second team: Riley Leonard or Anthony Richardson
Others: Easton Stick
>>Richardson has seemed to struggle in camp but he’s listed as co-No. 2 with Riley Leonard. This isn’t a surprise as the first preseason game is Thursday vs. New England.
Wide receiver
First team: Alec Pierce, Josh Downs, Ashton Dulin
Second team: Laquon Treadwell, Anthony Gould, Nick Westbrook-Ikhine
Others: E.J. Horton Jr., Sahmir Hagans, Eli Pancol, Coleman Owen, Raylen Sharpe, , Deion Burks, Ben Nikkel, D.J. Montgomery
>>Dulin is listed as the No. 3 receiver over Westbrook-Ikhine despite Westbrook-Ikhine seemingly having the better training camp.
Linebacker
First team: Akeem Davis-Gaither, CJ Allen
Second team: Jaylon Carlies, Austin Ajiake
Others: Bryce Boettcher, Tahj Chambers, West Weeks, Devin Versuk
>> Injuries have kept up a steady rotation at the positions but interesting to see Allen listed as a starter despite his injuries. Carlies is a second teamer; can he stay healthy.
Defensive end
First team: Arden Key, Laiatu Latu
Second team: Jaylahn Tuimoloau, Micheal Clemons
Others: George Gumbs Jr., Mitchell Melton, Caden Curry, Durrell Nchami
>> Key is a starter; not a surprise but a reminder the position is not what fans were hoping for heading into the offseason.

>> Giddens vs. McGowan is the main battle here; no surprise Giddens is listed second as experience with the team seems to be the tiebreaker.

>> Haulcy gets the first team nod over Wohler, who has been battling an injury. Owens had been primarily a special teamer in recent seasons so interesting to see him get the No. 2 spot.

Second team: Cam Taylor-Britt, Jai’Onte’ McMillan, Mekhi Blackmon

>> Cam Taylor-Britt has established himself as the No. 3 outside corner. Jaylon Jones continues to struggle to carve out a spot under Lou Anarumo
Specialists
Punter/holder: Rigoberto Sanche
Kicker: Blake Grupe or Spencer Shrader

>> Grupe and Shrader listed as co-first team kickers though Grupe has performed better publicly.
