2A at Sullivan
Sullivan d. Eastern Greene, 25-19, 25-14, 25-14: T-Birds (9-17) see season come to an end as Sullivan swats 44 kills and hits .302 in a balanced attack.
1A at Clay City
Clay City d. Cloverdale 25-19, 25-19, 25-12: Eels (11-12) advance with sweep.
Shakamak d. Lighthouse Christian, 20-25, 25-16, 25-14, 25-20: Tournament favorite Lakers (20-7) rally by Lions (19-8), who get out to quick start.
Thursday, Oct. 16
4A at Terre Haute South
Bloomington South d. Terre Haute North 25-22, 25-18, 20-25, 22-25, 15-12: Panthers (26-5) set mark for second most wins in school history. (28-3, 1977). THN finished 15-13. South advances to play Terre Haute South on Saturday at around noon in the semis. Gabriella Zwerner had 13 kills and six blocks and freshman Grayce Renn nine kills and eight blocks for the Patriots (15-13).
4A At Floyd Central
Providence d. Seymour, 25-22, 22-25, 25-19, 25-16: Pioneers (18-13) advance to face BNL in semifinals.
New Albany d. Jeffersonville, 25-12, 25-23, 25-18
3A at Edgewood
Edgewood d. Speedway 25-9, 25-23, 25-13: Mustangs (17-15) advance to semifinals behind 14 kills and six aces from Olivia Edgeman, 11 kills from Langley Hill and 28 assists, five aces, seven digs, two blocks from Jenna Abram.
Cascade d. Owen Valley, 25-17, 25-10, 25-16: Patriots finish 5-23.
2A at Sullivan
Linton d. West Vigo, 25-12, 25-11, 25-17
Barr-Reeve vs. North Knox, 25-7, 25-5, 25-8
