President Donald Trump has endorsed a lengthy list of Republican General Assembly candidates Hoosiers may see on their ballots on primary Election Day, May 5, 2026. Many of them supported mid-decade congressional redistricting and several have received funding from organizations hoping to oust the senators who voted against redistricting.

What to know about Trump-endorsed candidates
Many of Trump’s endorsements are for candidates running against anti-redistricting Indiana senators.
As of April 9, nearly all anti-redistricting Republican senators up for re-election in Indiana have a Trump-endorsed challenger.
Trump also endorsed some, but not all, pro-redistricting state representatives.
