INDIANAPOLIS — Fever coach Stephanie White did not have an update on Aliyah Boston’s lower leg injury following her third-quarter exit in Friday’s 104-102 loss to the Mystics.
“I don’t have any information,” White said postgame. “I haven’t spoken to our medical staff yet.”
There was no definitive moment in the game when Boston suffered the injury, but she checked out with 2:01 left in the third quarter and went back to the locker room. The Fever then announced during the fourth that she would not return with a lower leg injury. Boston finished the game with nine points on 3-of-8 shooting in 20 minutes.

Boston has been working back from a lower leg injury she suffered in late February in Unrivaled. She missed the Unrivaled playoffs and the FIBA World Cup Qualifying Tournament in March, then the Fever’s first two preseason games in April, while working back from that injury.
White did not say whether Boston’s lower leg injury was a reaggravation of the lower leg injury she had in Unrivaled.
It happened on the heels of playing 22 minutes and not making a shot in the Fever’s win over the Sparks in Los Angeles on Wednesday. Boston is averaging 12 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists in 23.2 minutes per game this season.
