The race between U.S. Rep. Thomas Massie and Trump-backed Republican Ed Gallrein will finally be over on Kentucky’s Primary Election Day May 19.
I say finally because I’ve written at least two dozen articles about the race, spent hours listening to candidates’ speeches and talked to dozens of voters about one of the most-watched political primaries in the country this year.
Among the topics I’ve covered in my interviews with the candidates: Trump, “Lord of the Rings” and high school letterman jackets.
Ask me your question on TikTok Monday
The Enquirer is hosting an Ask Me Anything session on TikTok where, as the name implies, people can ask me anything they want about the Massie-Gallrein race and our reporting process over the past few months.
The live session will be at noon May 18 on The Enquirer’s official TikTok page at the @cincyenquirer handle.
Can’t make the livestream? You can also ask me a question by emailing me at jolenea@usatoday.com and I’ll try to answer it during the AMA session.
Have a news tip? Comment? You can reach Northern Kentucky reporter Jolene Almendarez at jolenea@usatodayco.com or follow her on social media. Keep up with Northern Kentucky news at NKY.com or by downloading our NKY news app.
