EAST PEORIA – This year is expected to bring new life to the historic Four Corners area.
A new bank is coming to the former Town Centre I shopping center. And the former Regions Bank building will be transformed into a new business as well.

The chain 7 Brew Coffee plans to open its first location in East Peoria in late summer or early fall. The opening date depends on when demolition is completed at the former Regions Bank building, 111 W. Washington St.
The demolition, initially expected last year, is planned for later this winter or early spring, said Ty Livingston, the city’s director of planning and community development.
“The 7 Brew brings a new, exciting business to East Peoria,” Livingston said. “The redevelopment of the site adds a new and vibrant development to that area of the community.”
The franchise’s building here is expected to be 500 square feet, which is the prototype size for 7 Brew Coffee. Livingston said the new store will provide an additional offering to a busy corridor off North Main Street.
The demolition of the former Regions Bank facility will remove an underutilized building and will leave an additional lot available for development, Livingston said.
7 Brew locations opening at a fast rate
Last year, 7 Brew reached 600 locations around the country. The Arkansas-based chain nearly doubled its footprint in 2025 by opening over 280 new franchises. The brand launched in 2019 with just 14 stores.
“This has been a monumental year of growth for 7 Brew and it’s a true testament to the one-of-a-kind experience that our customers love,” 7 Brew president Chris Dawson said in a December 2025 press release.
