River & Rails music festival

Arc Light Productions presents ‘Puffs’
Arc Light Productions will present their production of “Puffs (or Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic)” at 7:30 p.m. Friday, July 24, and Saturday, July 25 at Illini Bluff High School, 9611 S. Whitney’s Walk for Suicide Prevention & Awareness
Whitney’s Walk For Life 2026 will be held Saturday, July 25, at Jubilee State Park in Brimfield. The event will feature both a 5K run and 5K walk. The run will start at 7:55 a.m. and the walk will begin at 8 a.m. Registration is $30 for adults and $15 for youth ages 12 and under. Sweet Corn Festival in Chillicothe

Foster Pet Outreach fundraiser
A fundraiser and adoption event for Foster Pet Outreach will be held from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, July 25, at Country Club BBQ, 2510 W. Farmington Road. 10 percent of all food sales during the event will be donated to Foster Pet Outreach to help local animals in need and you can meet adoptable dogs looking for their forever homes. The event will also include drink specials, giveaways and dog swag.
Fiesta en el Rio in Peoria
Fiesta en el Rio, a music festival that celebrates Hispanic and Latino culture, will be held from 4 to 11:30 p.m. Saturday, July 25, at Riverfront Festival Park in Downtown Peoria. The event will include authentic Latin American food and drink, a children’s area, entertaining and upbeat bands, salsa dancing lessons and much more.
