Dinner on the Dock, one of Rockford’s favorite summer traditions, is returning to Prairie Street Brewing Co. this summer with live music every Thursday night on the Rock River.
The weekly series runs from May through September and features a full lineup of local and regional acts.
May 14: Mana Kintorso: A Rockford-based indie alternative rock band.
May 21: Lola Blu: A local country artist that connect with a wide audience. She was named 2024 Breakthrough Artist of the Year by the Midwest Country Music Organization.
May 28: Yesterday’s Gone: A classic rock cover band from Rockford.
June 4: 3 Good Men: A Rockford-based group mixing funk, pop and classic rock.
June 11: Indika Reggaie Band: Playing jazz, reggae, R&B and more.
June 18: Random AF: A versatile cover band known for unpredictable setlists, blending genres of funk, classic rock and pop.
June 25: Jon Bon Stamos:A six-piece band from the Rockford/Beloit/Madison area playing high-energy “stolk folk”.
July 2: Swingbilly RFD: A Rockford band playing 1940s and ’50s honky-tonk and Western swing.
July 9: That Gurl: That Gurl plays best female-led songs from the ’70s, ’80s and ’90s.
July 16: Sunset Strip: A five-time Hall of Fame RAMI award-winning ’80s glam and hairband tribute band from Rockford.
July 23: Gang of Martians: Gang of Martians plays party dance rock from the ’60s, ’70s and ’80s.
July 30: Harlan Jefferson: A blues-rock 7-piece band from Rockford.
Aug. 6: Tom Mac Group: A local group performing jazz, blues and Latin music.
Aug. 13: Rebel Hearts: A Rockford band covering rock, pop and country.
Aug. 20: Soul Review: A Rockford band playing R&B, smooth jazz, funk and pop from as far back as the 1960s.
Aug. 27: The Beaux: Performing tribute to more than 100 rock artists and playing venues from small pubs to festivals throughout northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin.
Sept. 3: Stereotype: A modern rock band from Rockford.
Sept. 10: Docktoberfest: A festive finale act celebrating Oktoberfest traditions with lively music and a party atmosphere on the Rock River.
About Dinner on the Dock
Dinner on the Dock is held every Thursday evening at Prairie St. Brewing Co. in Rockford. The event runs on Thursdays from 5 to 10 p.m., with live music taking place from 6 to 9 p.m.
