Rockford Jams kicks off June 9. Here's who's playing this summer

ROCKFORD, IL — Rockford Jams is returning to Sinnissippi Music Shell this summer with a packed lineup of live music, tribute bands, and special guests.

Located at 2010 Arlington Ave. in Rockford, the outdoor concert series features opening performances beginning at 6 p.m. and headliners taking the stage at 7 p.m.

Here’s a list of who’s performing this season and when.

June 9: McKenna Faith Winters: Local modern pop and country artist. This concert is free.

June 16: Rockford Concert Band: Concerts typically include pop pieces, concert band standards, and arrangements of light classical works. This concert is free.

June 18: Blooze Brothers: A Blues Brothers tribute band with special guest Clark Kelly.

June 23: Phantom Regiment: World-class competitive drum and bugle corps based in Rockford. This concert is free.

June 25: Ozzy Rebourne: An Ozzy Osbourne tribute band with special guest Eli Parker.

June 30: Rockford Concert Band: Concerts typically include pop pieces, concert band standards, and arrangements of light classical works. This concert is free.

July 2: American English: A Beatles tribute band with special guests Lady and the Tramp.

July 7: Rockford Concert Band: Concerts typically include pop pieces, concert band standards, and arrangements of light classical works. This concert is free.

July 9: Terrapin Flyer: A Grateful Dead tribute band with special guests The Lone Canary.

July 14: Rockford Concert Band: Concerts typically include pop pieces, concert band standards, and arrangements of light classical works. This concert is free.

July 16: Rocks Off: A Rolling Stones tribute band with special guest The JB Project.

July 21: Rockford Concert Band: Concerts typically include pops pieces, concert band standards, and arrangements of light classical works. This concert is free.

July 23: Second Hand News: A Fleetwood Mac tribute band with special guest Tom Mac Group.

July 28: Rock Valley College Summer Orchestra: The ensemble performs repertoire ranging from classical symphonies to Broadway and film favorites. This concert is free.

July 30: Think Floyd USA: A Pink Floyd tribute band with special guest Paul Bronson.

Sept. 12: The Heartwreckers: A Tom Petty tribute band with special guests Longshot.

Sept. 19: YYNOT: A Rush tribute band with special guest Luke Callen.

About Rockford Jams

Concert admission is $5, payable in advance or at the gate, unless noted. Children 5 and under are free. Prime Concert and VIP tickets and packages are available at rockfordparkdistrict.org/soundsofsummer.
