Shaub was a passenger in a Chrysler minivan that crashed with a Lincoln MKX at the intersection of North Logan Street and Peoria Street.

Officers got to the crash around 9:40 p.m., according to a news release from the Lincoln Police Department.

The driver of the Lincoln MKX, Shaun M. Cook, 38, received medical treatment before police arrested him and took him to the Logan County jail and charged with aggravated driving under the influence.

Police in preliminary investigation believe Cook’s Lincoln MKX collided with the Chrysler minivan. Officers observed the Lincoln MKX to have severe front-end damage and the Chrysler minivan that had severe rear-end damage.

Emergency personnel provided medical assistance at the crash. Two other people who were driving the Chrysler minivan refused treatment.
