CREVE COEUR – Illinois State Police released new information this week about the death of a man on March 10.
Creve Coeur police responded to a 911 call about 2:15 a.m. in the 500 block of Roosevelt Road, where officers found a man inside a residence with a gunshot wound. Officers attempted life-saving measures, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
ISP identified the man as 29-year-old Adolfo Cazares. An obituary for Cazares, formerly of Kewanee, described him as “funny and sweet” to all and said he was “dearly loved by all his family and friends.”
The death investigation is ongoing, and no additional information has been released. According to a statement, the “Creve Coeur Police Department requested the Illinois State Police Division of Criminal Investigation Zone 4 handle the investigation.”
