California-based chicken joint Dave’s Hot Chicken is expanding, opening eight locations on Friday, April 17, and one of those is in Illinois.

Dave’s Hot Chicken CEO Jim Bitticks said the company has plans to open more than 150 locations by the end of 2026, including the first-ever Dave’s Hot Chicken in Ireland.
