Tuesday Evening in the Gardens returns this summer with a weekly concert series featuring local, regional and nationally touring musicians at Rockford’s Anderson Japanese Gardens.
Guests are invited to enter and set up seating areas beginning at 5 p.m., with opening acts starting at 5:45 p.m. and headliners taking the stage at 6:30 p.m. Blankets, lawn chairs and small tables are welcome.

May 26: Swingbilly RFD: A Rockford band playing Western swing and honky-tonk. Opening: Kelly Steward.
June 2: Dueling Pianos with Anthony Sanders: A Chicago act performing piano-driven pop and rock. Opening: Rock & Roll Institute.
June 9: Too Deep: A Rockford band playing rock and pop. Opening: The Danhattans.
June 16: Steph Strings: A Melbourne, Australia, artist performing acoustic and folk music. Opening: OriHana.
June 23: Alysha Brilla: A Brampton, Ontario, artist performing world, folk and pop music. Opening: RYA.
June 30: Miles Nielsen and the Rusted Hearts: A Rockford band playing rock and Americana. Opening: 40 North.
July 7: Howie Day: A Brewer, Maine, artist performing pop and acoustic rock. Opening: Eli Parker.
July 14: LOVE with Johnny Echols: A Los Angeles act performing psychedelic rock. Opening: Emily Hurd.
July 21: The Cactus Blossoms: A Minneapolis band playing alternative country and folk. Opening: Emilio Salinas.
July 28: Strange Americans: A Denver band performing Americana and rock music. Opening: Dan Maguire.
Aug. 4: Danielle Nicole Band: A Nashville band playing blues and rock. Opening: Cash Box Kings.
Aug. 11: The Watson Twins: A Nashville duo performing Americana and folk. Co-headlining: Emily Nenni.
Aug. 18: Deep Blue Something: A Denton, Texas, band performing alternative rock. Opening: Josh Caterer.
Aug. 25: Them Coulee Boys: A Wisconsin band playing Americana and bluegrass. Opening: Rollin’ Whiskey.
About Tuesday in the Gardens
Admission is free for premium garden members. Regular garden admission applies to others, with tickets available for purchase on the day of each concert.
Parking is limited and may fill early. Additional off-site parking is available, and complimentary shuttle service is provided. Food and beverages are available for purchase, and carry-in picnic meals are allowed, though outside beverages are not permitted.
