Two new food options opened their doors in East Peoria last month.
Ortiz Mexican Bar & Grill was one newcomer, while Raiders Pizza, Wings & More was another. Here’s what to know about each establishment.
Ortiz Mexican Bar & Grill
Situated at 3414 Meadow Ave. in East Peoria, the Mexican eatery opened in May before hosting a grand opening event in early June.
Hours of operation are from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Raiders Pizza, Wings & More
The recently opened restaurant is located at 1104 N. Main St. in East Peoria.
The storefront, which is connected to a gas station, operates from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
Visitors can find a variety of dishes, from pizza and burgers to gyros and rice platers. The menu lists entrees such as:
