DJ Moore described Bears' 19-play drive vs. Cowboys as 'fun torture'

The Chicago Bears had many highlights in their 31-14 win over the Dallas Cowboys, but there was one drive where the offense really made a statement.

In the third quarter, the Bears executed a 19-play, 76-yard drive that spanned 9:54, which helped Chicago take complete control of the second half. The drive, which saw 11 consecutive runs called, challenged not only the Cowboys defensive unit but Bears playmakers, especially on the outside when it came to blocking for those run calls.

Following the game, wide receiver DJ Moore, who caught four passes for 21 yards and his first touchdown of the season, had a hilarious response to the long drive by the offense. Moore referred to the drive as “fun torture” in a jokingly manner, noting he didn’t come off the field for any of the plays during the drive.

“How do you describe it? Torture,” Moore said, via Marquee Sports Network. “It’s a long time, 19 plays, and I didn’t come off the field for none of it. Not torture, but I mean, it was a fun torture.” Moore noted it was also torture for the Dallas defense, pointing out they were fatigued and that they were clearly wearing down as Chicago came closer and closer to the goal line.

While it may have been torture to go through all 19 plays, Moore capped off the fun for the drive with his four-yard touchdown reception, a score where he was left completely open in the end zone by the Dallas secondary. The Bears may not always be able to put together a drive that long together every week, but it was impressive to see how they controlled the quarter and the defense throughout the scoring drive.
