The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the fatal shooting of a woman in Lake Worth Beach on Nov. 1.
Investigators have not released the name of the woman, whose body was found at a building on the 700 block of South Dixie Highway, near Sixth Avenue South.
Deputies responded just before midnight and found the woman dead from “apparent gunshot wounds,” the sheriff’s office said in a prepared statement.
Detectives from the Violent Crimes Division had not identified either a person of interest or a motive as of Nov. 2.
