Jacksonville Jaguars’ quarterback Trevor Lawrence came in at No. 62 on the NFL’s 2026 top 100 player rankings.
These rankings are voted on by the players themselves.
“Trevor, he’s leading that team the right way,” said Texans star pass rusher Will Anderson Jr. “Great quarterback. Big arm, man. Hard to bring down, I’ll tell you that for sure, because he’s huge. But he’s a athlete.”
Lawrence thrived in Year 1 under Liam Coen. As the season progressed and his comfort in the offense grew, his play really began to take off.
Lawrence finished the 2025 season completing 61% of his passes for 4,214 yards with 41 total touchdowns — including 32 passing — to 14 interceptions. Among all quarterbacks, he ranked seventh in passing yards and fourth in passing touchdowns.
“I think he’s playing at a very high level,” said the Texans CJ Stroud. “Guys on the outside are trusting him and up front blocking hard for him.”
During the Jaguars’ eight-game winning streak to end the regular season, in which the offense averaged almost 33 points per game, Lawrence ranked fourth in total passing yards.
He was also third in yards per pass attempt, second in passing touchdowns, and had the fifth-lowest turnover-worthy play rate. We also saw Lawrence make a lot of plays with the ball in his hands.
“He’s been making plays also with his legs,” said Texans pass rusher Danielle Hunter. “Just like that one play they had against the Chiefs — bizarre play.”
As good as last year was for him, the continuity of being in Coen’s offense for a second season can provide a jumping-off point for Lawrence heading into 2026.
