Almost 550 of Tallahassee’s movers and shakers will descend on the Ritz-Carlton in Amelia Island this week to discuss the pressing issues of the day and enjoy some beach downtime during the Greater Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce’s annual conference.
The attendees include a who’s who of small business owners, government executives, university administrators, nonprofit leaders, politicians, candidates and more.
The gathering occurs just days before an increasingly bitter primary election with the control of City Hall at stake, and along with it policies that will determine the capital city’s economic trajectory.
