Marvel’s favorite antiheroes are headed to your television screens.
The Marvel Cinematic Universe entered a bold new phase with the release of “Thunderbolts*” — now rebranded as “The New Avengers” — which hit theaters back in May.
Here’s how soon you can watch the superhero flick on Disney+.
When will ‘Thunderbolts*’ be available to stream?
While Disney has yet to confirm a digital release date, the film is expected to follow the rollout pattern of recent Marvel titles, such as “Captain America: Brave New World.”
Physical formats — including 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD — are expected to arrive in stores on July 29, according to IGN. Marvel films generally debut on Disney+ several weeks after their physical release.

If “Thunderbolts*” sticks to that timeline, a streaming premiere could arrive in late August or early September.

What is ‘Thunderbolts*’ about?
“Thunderbolts*” brings together antiheroes from the Marvel Cinematic Universe and levels them up to official “superhero status,” after finding themselves ensnared in a death trap set by Valentina Allegra de Fontaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus).
The unexpected heroes must embark on “a dangerous mission that will force them to confront the darkest corners of their pasts,” according to the film’s synopsis.
“Will this dysfunctional group tear themselves apart or find redemption and unite as something much more before it’s too late?” it adds.
