FSU baseball vs. Miami: Live updates, scores from Thursday

The No. 8 Florida State Seminoles will end the 2026 regular season against the Miami Hurricanes at Dick Howser Stadium in Tallahassee, Florida, this weekend. The series will start on Thursday night, and the Seminoles are looking to start the series with a win.

Ace Wes Mendes is getting the start for FSU, who needs just one win to clinch a top-four seed in the coming ACC Baseball Tournament over the Hurricanes, who are two games back. The top four seeds receive a double-bye in the tournament.

FSU (36-15, 17-10 ACC) won its series against the Clemson Tigers last weekend. They were recently projected to be the No. 9 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament, putting them in line to host a regional but not a super regional. A series win over the Hurricanes will give them a chance to jump into the top eight.
