What was the cut line at American Express? Who missed the cut

It’s cut day at The American Express. No, your calendar isn’t lying to you: This is the only PGA Tour event that trims down its field after Round 3.

The extra day to rebound didn’t help defending tournament champion Sepp Straka. The No. 12 player in the World Golf Rankings enters the day 2 over par, needing a day similar to Blades Brown’s 60 from Round 2 if he is to make the cut and play the final round.

Alex Noren, right behind Straka at No. 13, isn’t nearly as far from the cut line but does still have work to do. Matt Fitzpatrick, Kurt Kitayama and Brian Harman are among the others flirting with the cut line.
