The Herald-Tribune recently rolled out its 2025 Fall All-Area team selections.
We honored the top football players on defense from Manatee and Sarasota counties by naming First Team, Second Team, and Honorable Mention lists.
We selected Venice edge rusher Asharri Charles as our Football Defense Player of the Year among the 19 First-Teamers.
