District 7-7A semifinals

No. 3 St. Lucie West Centennial (16-10) 71, No. 2 Vero Beach (18-7) 46: Combining for 48 points, the duo of senior Jayden Prosper and sophomore Reggie Hayes outscored Vero Beach themselves as the Eagles advanced to the district title game with a convincing road victory.

Centennial led 24-13 after the first eight minutes. Entering halftime with a 10-point cushion, the visitors extended their advantage with a 20-8 third quarter. The victory avenges a 64-51 defeat to Vero on Dec. 2.

Prosper led the way with 25 points on 10-for-20 shooting from the field to go with 10 rebounds, four steals and three assists. Knocking down 8 of his 12 shots, Hayes finished with 23 points, eight rebounds and five steals. Elijah Romilus also chipped in with 14 points.

Stats were unavailable for Vero Beach, who has dropped four of its last five games. The team entered districts ranked eighth in Region 2-7A, but were fifth among squads in the running for an at-large berth.

Ranked 10th in the region, Centennial looks to successfully defend its district crown when it plays Saturday at No. 1 Jupiter. The two teams met during the regular season, with the Warriors collecting a 75-57 win.

No. 1 Jupiter (23-3) 65, No. 4 Treasure Coast (13-11) 57: The Titans’ season came to a close after coming up short on the road against the top-seeded Warriors. Stats were unavailable.

District 13-6A semifinal

No. 2 Martin County (15-11) 58, No. 3 Royal Palm Beach (15-12) 46: A game that was deadlocked through three quarters turned into a Tigers runaway. Martin County saved its best for last in a home win over the Wildcats.

Royal Palm Beach scored the first points of the fourth to break a 36-36 tie before the Tigers went on a 10-0 run. The road team got to within 48-44 with less than three minutes remaining before three consecutive baskets from sophomore guard Shawn Russell put the game on ice.

Stats were unavailable.

The Tigers are seeking their second straight district title.

District 6-6A semifinal

No. 3 Fort Pierce Westwood (17-8) 82, No. 2 Melbourne (15-11) 64: Rocketing to a double-digit lead out of the gates, the Panthers pulled away late to strongly close out a road triumph over the Bulldogs. Westwood held a 26-12 lead at the end of the first quarter before winning the fourth by a 30-20 margin.

Stats were unavailable.

On Saturday, the Panthers will visit top-seeded Viera with the district crown on the line.

District 13-5A semifinals

The Bulldogs will play for their third district title in a row. They’ll play host to Jensen Beach at 6 p.m. Saturday.

No. 2 Jensen Beach (16-9) 54, No. 3 Port St. Lucie (15-12) 52: The Falcons and Jaguars split a pair of tightly-contested regular season games. Their postseason matchup wasn’t any different, as Jensen Beach moved on with a narrow home win. Their three games were decided by a combined margin of six points.

Stats were unavailable.

District 9-3A semifinals

No. 1 Tradition Prep (21-2) 83, No. 4 Lincoln Park Academy (6-18) 28: Winning each of the first three quarters by at least 15 points, the Pirates clinched a berth into the district final after blasting the Greyhounds from the Fenn Center. Stats were unavailable.

No. 2 Avon Park (9-14) 52, No. 3 Somerset College Prep (9-14) 50: The Spartans’ 2025-26 campaign reached its conclusion following a close road loss to the Red Devils. Chris Kelly and Seamus Bukovac led Avon Park with 14 and 13 points, respectively.

Stats were unavailable for Somerset College Prep.

District 8-1A semifinals

No. 2 St. Edward’s (12-9) 66, No. 3 Morningside Academy (15-12) 61 (OT): The Pirates outlasted the Eagles in overtime to earn a shot at the district title. The game went past regulation thanks to St. Edward’s defensive pressure and clutch basket from senior wing Cody Simmonds.

Trailing 57-55 with 16.2 seconds left, the Pirates caused a turnover on a Morningside inbounds play. On the ensuing inbounds, Simmonds caught a pass in the backcourt and finished a strong left-handed drive with a bucket in the paint while absorbing contact. Although the senior failed to complete the three-point play following a miss from the free-throw line, his field goal was enough to send the game to overtime.

St. Edward’s clung to a 64-61 lead with less than a minute remaining when Jayzere Cannon hit a floater in the lane to put the game away.

Stats were unavailable.

The Pirates will play at top-seeded Florida Prep on Saturday.

No. 1 Florida Prep (17-7) 84, No. 4 Master’s Academy (12-15) 24: The Patriots were no contest for the district’s top seed as they fell to the Falcons in Melbourne. The visitors were limited to 5-for-26 shooting from the floor.

Madden Schiermyer paced Master’s Academy with 10 points.
