A busy start of the week for the PGA Tour as they unveiled plans for 2028. With the news, there was also a surprise appearance from Tiger Woods as he spoke about the new set up of the tour. He then handed things over to CEO, and new PGA Tour commissioner, Brian Rolapp and left without taking questions.
But now to focus is shifting back to the Travelers Championship.
One of the PGA Tour’s Signature Events, the Travelers Championship is a longstanding stop at TPC River Highlands. As a no-cut tournament, all 72 competitors will play through the par-70 course. The defending champion is Keegan Bradley.
Players like 2026 U.S. Open winner Wyndham Clark, World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, Matt Fitzpatrick, and more will star in the tournament. The only big name that has chosen to sit this week out is Rory McIlroy.
When is the Travelers Championship?
The 2026 Travelers Championship will be played from June 25-June 28 at TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, Connecticut.
