The FSU Seminoles have landed the eighth member of their 2027 recruiting class, and they have a new highest-ranked commit in four-star linebacker Jernard Albright.
The strength of the class is now at linebacker, with Albright and four-star Gregory Batson both committed. They are two of FSU’s three-highest-ranked commits and are an impressive initial class for new linebackers coach Ernie Sims.
They are joined on the defensive side of the ball by four-star edge Anthony Cavallaro, three-star defensive lineman Eric Vaulx Jr, three-star safety Jermari Foreman, and three-star athlete DaYon Cooper. The class is rounded out by three-star quarterbck Logan Flaherty and three-star tight end Connor Winn, giving tight ends coach Chris Thomsen another intriguing prospect to work with. They are in the mix for several exciting playmakers, but will need to close the deal.
They need to keep filling out the class, adding some linemen and more skill talent is a must, but they have added several nice pieces. Here is a look at Florida State’s full 2027 recruiting class and how it compares to the rest of the country.
