The funds will help bring nutritious food to struggling families. Through a network of more than 200 local nonprofit partners, this support will deliver fresh produce, protein and essential staples directly into neighborhoods where the need is greatest.

The food bank said the Hope Pack Program delivers kid-friendly, shelf-stable meals through local school partnerships, ensuring that children who rely on school-based nutrition programs have access to food when school is not in session.

“We are incredibly grateful to The League Club for their generosity and commitment to our community,” Dennis Hall, executive director of Midwest Food Bank Florida, said in a news release. “This funding will allow us to expand our Hope Pack Program and provide consistent, reliable nutrition to children who need it most.”
