Mainland High School’s 367 seniors graduated on May 29 at the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach.
The Daytona Beach school produced 89 students with scholar designations, including Valedictorian Lea Farhat and Salutatorian Benjamin Leiva.
Mainland students work recognized by industries
The Class of 2026 earned 303 industry scholar designations, while 14 students received associate of arts or associate of science degrees from dual-enrollment in college.
College and career readiness
The Mainland senior class’ college and career acceleration rate was 85%, demonstrating graduates who have completed coursework or earned credentials exhibiting readiness for postsecondary education, the workforce or military. Students have received at least $110,000 in college scholarships. Ten students earned the Florida Seal of Biliteracy, while another 13 attained the Florida Seal of Fine Arts.
On to the armed forces
Of Mainland’s graduates, 14 will enter the military.
