Employees and physicians affiliated with Osprey PolyClinic are mourning the deaths of two of their founders, Anatoly “Tony” Ioffe and his wife Florita Stolyar, who were victims of a Feb. 10 mass shooting that claimed the lives of five people in Sarasota and two in Fort Lauderdale.
In addition to Ioffe, 61, and Stolyar, 66, the Sarasota shooting resulted in the deaths of Olga Greinert, 49, and Yaroslav Blyudoy, 39.
Law enforcement officials say the killer, 51-year-old Russell Kot, was among the people who died in Sarasota, bringing the Florida death toll in this tragedy to seven.
Kot is also believed to have killed Larisa Blyudaya, 46, and her 18-year-old son, Ben Azizov, in Fort Lauderdale prior to driving to Sarasota.
Authorities believe Kot had been in a relationship with Blyudaya.
What did Osprey PolyClinic officials say?
A representative of the clinic expressed its collective grief on Feb. 11 on Facebook after authorities released the identities of the victims.
“With the heaviest of hearts, we at Osprey PolyClinic mourn the tragic loss of our dear CEO and co-founder, Anatoly ‘Tony’ Ioffe, his cherished wife, Florita Stolyar, and other dear friends and members of their immediate family,” the statement read.
It later added, “Tony was not only a visionary leader who built this practice with passion and dedication to patient care, but a kind, inspiring presence who touched countless lives.”
What is Osprey PolyClinic?
The practice, which does business as Osprey PolyClinic out of a medical office building at 1307 S. Tamiami Trail in Osprey, is similar to a “WeWork” space for medical professionals, according to the ArgoMed Group website.
Providers affiliated with the clinic offer services in obstetrics and gynecology; orthopedics; substance abuse and addiction; and primary care.
Providers at the clinic accept insurance but as an alternative, primary care physicians also offer service through a model known as Direct Primary Care.
In that model, patients pay a flat monthly or annual fee and then can schedule more personal — and longer — visits with their primary care physicians than at traditional medical practices.
The copayment, which is listed at $10 on the clinic website, also applies to lab testing, X-rays and bone density scans and up to two ultrasounds and one 3D mammogram screening per year.
Deborah Gordon told the Herald-Tribune through Nextdoor that she sought out the clinic because she wanted the level of attention that she received from her former doctor, who died in 2014.
She said she was impressed by the immediate care offered at Osprey PolyClinic.
“The doctors come from all over and represent a wide range of backgrounds and specialties, yet the culture of the clinic feels consistent — professional, respectful, and genuinely patient-centered,” Gordon wrote.
She added that the Direct Primary Care service helped when her husband needed temporary coverage for three months.
“That kind of option is hard to find, and it was a huge help,” Gordon wrote.
According to a LinkedIn profile page for Ioffe, the 61-year-old was the CEO of ArgoMed Group DBA Osprey PolyClinic. Records from Sunbiz.org confirmed that Ioffe was the registered agent for ArgoMed Group, LLC, and has been since June 2022.
A Facebook post by Stolyar, Ioffe’s wife, stated the couple had opened the multi-specialty medical clinic in 2024 to provide “high-quality, ethical, and compassionate medical care with a truly personalized approach.”
Where did ArgoMed Group begin?
ArgoMed Group started in Chicago and later moved to Sarasota, according to a brief history section of the ArgoMed Group website.
Co-founder David Mayer also resides in Sarasota County.
Argo Real Estate Management LLC, which was partially managed by Ioffe, bought the Osprey property in September 2023 for $3.1 million. It sold the building in December 2025 for $6.34 million to a Delaware-based company, 1307 Tamiami Trail LLC.
What’s next?
The clinic expressed appreciation through Facebook for the expressions of love, prayers and support shared by others.
“As we navigate this profound sorrow, we remain steadfast in our commitment to honoring Tony’s legacy by continuing to provide compassionate, high-quality care to every patient who walks through our doors,” the post read. “Thank you for your kindness and understanding. We will share updates on services and memorials when appropriate.”
