Raising Cane's next Florida restaurant gets June opening date

In a chicken-finger mood? Ten days after a Raising Cane’s opened in Pensacola, another will be firing up the deep fryer in Central Florida.

The popular fast food chain known for a tiny, focused menu of hand-battered, cooked-to-order chicken tenders, buttered Texas toast, fries, and slaw, added a Kissimmee location to its “Coming Soon” page. The new place will open on June 26.

A recent opening in Gainesville, a March one in Ocala, and two Orlando openings in December are all part of Raising Cane’s push into the Sunshine State, and there are more in progress around Florida.

Where is Raising Cane’s opening in Florida?

The Kissimmee location is opening at 1200 W Osceola Pkwy, the site said, near the corner of John Young Pkwy. It’s about 13 miles away from the chain’s other Kissimmee location.
