A popular breakfast and brunch chain is opening a new location in St. Augustine Beach.
First Watch will open in Anastasia Plaza, 1081 A1A Beach Blvd., on Monday, June 8.
The award-winning eatery is nestled in a 3,900-square-foot space that seats more than 150 guests. First Watch also features a covered patio and an interior bar.
Known for its modern take on breakfast and brunch, dishes are made to order using fresh ingredients in a kitchen without heat lamps, microwaves or deep fryers.
Familiar favorites on First Watch’s diverse menu ― which is available all day ― includes Avocado Toast, Farmhouse Hash, Lemon Ricotta Pancakes, Million Dollar Bacon, sandwiches and salads, including the Superfood Kale Salad fresh fruit and vegetable juices and of course socially responsible Project Sunrise coffee, sourced by female coffee farmers based in South America.
To celebrate the opening, customers who dine at the Anastasia Plaza location between June 8 and June 12 will receive unlimited Project Sunrise coffee with their meal.
First Watch offers a revolving seasonal menu that follows the position of the sun to source fresh ingredients. The Anastasia Plaza restaurant will offer its first seasonal menu in Fall 2026.
According to a news release, First Watch will employ approximately 30 people, a “No Night Shifts Ever” approach that “enables its teams to enjoy their evenings and build a better quality of life.” Interested applicants are encouraged to apply at careers.firstwatch.com.
First Watch is open daily from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for pickup, delivery and dine-in service.
With every kid meal served, First Watch donates a portion to organizations and causes – raising approximately $2 million to date.
A recipient of many “Best Breakfast” and “Best Brunch” awards, First Watch was voted #1 Best Breakfast by Newsweek’s Readers’ Choice Awards 2025, and also named 2025 and 2024’s #1 Most Loved Workplace in America by the Best Practice Institute – an accolade most recently featured in The Wall Street Journal – after appearing on the list in 2022 and 2023.
