Farewell to Travis Kelce, Ron DeSantis and the celebrities who helped open the 2026 Pebble Beach Pro-Am. The weekend belong to the pros.
Ryo Hisatsune cooled down a little from his hot first round but still enters Round 3 today tied for the lead at 15 under par. Akshay Bhatia put up a 64 in the second round to sit atop the leaderboard alongside him. Right behind them are Rickie Fowler — who has followed two top-10 finishes in last year’s FedEx Cup with two top-20 finishes to open 2026 — and Sam Burns, who placed 10th at Pebble Beach in 2024.
Min Woo Lee, Sepp Straka, Jacob Bridgeman, Tom Hoge and Jake Knapp are close behind, with Matt Fitzpatrick, Xander Schauffele, Jordan Spieth and Hideki Matsuyama among the host of others looking to claw their way up the board on moving day. Chris Gotterup sits six strokes back, right where you can find Rory McIlroy in his season debut. Scottie Scheffler followed up an even-par Round 1 with a 6-under Round 2; could the World No. 1 make another move today?
