Panhandle Hurricanes Allstar Cheer & Tumble hosted an energetic event filled with back flips, tumbles and plenty of smiles at Arnold High School in Panama City Beach on April 4.
Family, friends and teammates cheered loudly, as athletes showcased solo and team routines, highlighting their skill, timing and creativity on the floor.
The occasion served as a key tune-up for the Allstar World Championship in Orlando April 16-19.
Errica Swartwood, co-owner of the Panhandle Hurricanes, said the day’s event helps get their athletes in front of a large audience while performing their competitive routines.
“Repetition and performing under pressure helps our athletes on competition day,” Swartwood wrote in an email. “It also helps to have all of their teammates and athletes within the program cheering them on. That kind of energy and support is what they take to the stage with them on the big day.”
