Palm Beach International Airport: the history, the people and President Trump

Palm Beach International Airport (PBI) is a major travel hub in South Florida, located just west of downtown West Palm Beach. Originally opened in 1936 as Morrison Field, it played a vital role during World War II and the Korean War. Renamed in 1948, PBI now serves more than 8 million passengers annually and is known for its convenience, accessibility, and elegant design.

With direct access from I-95 and proximity to top destinations like Boca Raton and Palm Beach, PBI offers travelers a central location for South Florida travel.
