Center for Family Services hires CDO

The Center for Family Services of Palm Beach County, a nonprofit behavioral healthcare organization dedicated to improving the lives of individuals, children, and families recently announced the appointment of Lyndsey McMillan as chief development officer. In this role, she will provide strategic leadership for all fundraising, donor engagement, and external relations initiatives, ensuring the long-term sustainability and growth of the organization’s mission. Since 1961, The Center for Family Services of Palm Beach County, Inc. has embraced the philosophy that families should be the center of the community, and the center of every family should be a healthy connection.

Jewish Family Services announces new board

Ruth & Norman Rales Jewish Family Services recently announced its new board of directors for the 2026-2027 fiscal year. Ron Gallatin was named chairman of the board. Gallatin has been an integral member of Jewish Family Services, including 18 years as vice chair of strategic planning. In 1995, Gallatin retired as managing director of Lehman Brothers. With his wife Meryl, he co-founded Hands on Tzedakah, a non-profit that annually seeds dozens of initiatives, and, over its 23-year history, has supported hundreds of projects at the organization.

Delray attorney speaks at PACENation conference

Erin L. Deady, a licensed attorney in Delray Beach, recently spoke at the PACENation annual conference on a panel in New York City at the Citibank Headquarters. The event was put on by PACENation, which is the national non-profit organization that advocates for expanded access to PACE financing. PACE stands for “property assessed clean energy” and is a program that provides financing for wind resistance, energy efficiency and renewable energy projects for home and business owners. The annual conference is attended by national banks, financing entities, local and state government officials, bankers and other industry leaders across the Country. Erin L. Deady, P.A., is a full service legal and consulting firm in Delray Beach.

HHS official visits Atlantis Community Health Center

The Health Care District of Palm Beach County recently welcomed Dr. Samantha Brown-Parks, Region IV director for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, to the Atlantis Community Health Center to see their nationally recognized, integrated whole-person care model in action. Designated by Health Resources and Services Administration as a Gold Quality Leader ranking within the top 10% of health centers nationwide for seven consecutive years, the district’s community health centers ensure medical, dental, behavioral health, and pharmacy services for all ages through one medical home. District president and CEO Darcy Davis also welcomed leaders from the Health Resources and Services Administration, Florida Association of Community Health Centers, and the Florida Health and Nutrition Coalition.

The Lord’s Place adds to board of directors

Rob Indresano and Bryna Rogers recently accepted appointment to The Lord’s Place board of directors. They join the existing members in bringing their professional and personal talents to address the issues of homelessness and provide strategic guidance, financial leadership, and to uphold the values of The Lord’s Pace. With 25 years of staffing industry experience, Indresano led Barton Associates as president and COO from 2007-2022 and as CEO from 2022-2025. Rogers works remotely from her Palm Beach home as a senior director at Bay State Community Services in Quincy, Massachusetts, where she oversees program implementation, compliance, and start-up support for staff. For more than 45 years, The Lord’s Place has been working to break the cycle of homelessness for men, women, and children in Palm Beach County.

Quantum Foundation adds to team

Quantum Foundation has announced two strategic leadership appointments that will further enhance its impact in improving health and well-being across Palm Beach County. Andrew Filauro has been appointed as a member of the foundation’s finance and investment committee, and Christopher Seville joins the board of Palm Beach Venture Philanthropy, a division of Quantum Foundation. Filauro is a managing director at Oxford Financial Group Ltd., a partner-owned wealth management firm serving entrepreneurs and families nationwide. Seville is the founder of Thatch Construction Group and a certified general contractor with more than 14 years of experience in engineering and construction. Quantum Foundation’s mission is to inspire and fund initiatives that improve the health of Palm Beach County residents. Since its inception, Quantum Foundation has awarded $184 million to hundreds of Palm Beach County nonprofit grantees.
