The driver of Trackhouse Racing’s No. 97 Chevrolet got to perform his traditional celebration after his first win of the season. The NASCAR Cup Series’ road-course ace put himself in Victory Lane at Watkins Glen International.
SVG’s Go Bowling at The Glen triumph was his sixth in his last seven road races. He led 74 of the 100 laps and finished seven seconds in front of Michael McDowell. Ty Gibbs, who led 17 laps, rounded out the top three.
