In a Facebook post shared on June 24, the market announced it will continue as a fully remote company.

“It has been a genuine joy to be part of your daily routines — the morning coffees, the conversations and helping you find products that support your health and your home,” the post read.

Mercola Market will continue to sell products on MercolaMarket.com, including supplements, pet food, organic bedding and essential oils.

Mercola Market is owned and founded by Dr. Joseph Mercola, an osteopathic doctor. Mercola launched his holistic internet business, Mercola.com, in 1997. The website publishes natural health articles with tips and recommendations.

“While the market filled an important role locally, it has always been a relatively small part of our overall organization,” Mercola stated in an email on June 29.

He confirmed the company is turning its attention toward expanding its practitioner network.

“We’re excited about this next chapter and the chance to bring personalized, preventative healthcare to more people — while continuing to serve both our local community and customers across the country,” Mercola said.
