The massive, four-night country music festival is being held in Panama City Beach through Sunday, May 31. It boasts stacked music lineups, including performances from headliners Keith Urban (May 28), Chris Stapleton, Riley Green and Post Malone.

Event officials expect nightly attendance to be about 25,000. Tickets will remain available for purchase at the door until they sell out.

Friday, 4:15 p.m.: Rain, rain go away.

As of about 4:15 p.m. on Friday, the Panama City Beach area was grappling with a bit of rain. However, David Reese, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Tallahassee, expected for showers to clear by about 6 p.m.

There will then be about a 20% chance of rain the rest of the evening.

Reese expects similar conditions on Saturday and Sunday.

On Saturday, May 30, the forecast calls for about a 30-40% chance of rain until noon, and then about a 20% chance of rain for the rest of the day.

On Sunday, May 31, a cold front is expected to move in from the north, leading to rain chances of about 50% that afternoon.

Friday, 11:30 a.m.: 2027 headliner announced

Shortly before headliner Keith Urban took the stage Thursday night, event officials announced that Jason Aldean will be among headliners at the 2027 Gulf Coast Jam, which is scheduled for June 3-6 of next year.

Tickets for next year’s concert also already are on sale. They range from about $280 for general admission, all the way up to more than $87,000 to rent out a luxury suite.

5 p.m.: Weather update

Weather patterns have shifted, reducing − but not eliminating − the chances of significant rainfall during the 2026 Gulf Coast Jam.

According to David Reese, a meteorologist for the National Weather Service in Tallahassee, most of the localized rain for May 28 was north of the Panama City Beach area, near the Bay County/Washington County border. That said, there still was about a 20% to 30% chance of rain for the area the afternoon of May 28.

From there, May 29 has about a 30% to 40% chance of rain, and there’s a 50% chance during the weekend.

This is quite different than the forecast from just a couple days ago, when 50% to 60% chances of rain were expected basically every day of the concert.

“Sunday could be slightly wetter … (but) overall the pattern is going to be somewhat similar to what we had (on Thursday),” Reese said. “One thing that we have to remember is that we are forecasting the future. So, lots of things are moving around.”
