Jason Bailey for City Council
I am writing to wholeheartedly endorse Jason Bailey as a city councilor for Marco Island. Jason is currently the chairperson for the city’s planning board.
I have had the pleasure of sitting next to Jason on the planning board for several years. I have seen firsthand his knowledge on the workings of our city’s government, be it the comprehensive plan, a zoning issue or the land development code. At every meeting Jason prints out the entire agenda, whether it’s a variance petition, site development question or rezoning request he has notes on every agenda item and quite often asks pointed and informative questions regarding these requests.
Business wise, I have worked with Jason and his company (FCI Homes, Inc.) with two different people on new home construction projects. I have found Jason to be very honorable and straight forward in his business dealings and both these projects came to a very positive conclusion. I believe Jason would be an asset to our City Council and with his knowledge would hit the ground running!

Bill Poteet for state rep.
I am writing to express my strong support for Bill Poteet for state representative, District 82.
Our community deserves a representative who listens to constituents, works collaboratively, and is committed to finding practical solutions to the challenges we face. Throughout the campaign, Bill Poteet has demonstrated a clear understanding of the issues that matter most to local families, including strengthening our economy, improving education, supporting public safety, and ensuring responsible stewardship of taxpayer dollars.
What stands out most is Bill Poteet’s commitment to our community, and his willingness to engage with residents, hear different perspectives, and focus on results rather than partisan politics. I have personally watched Bill participate in local organizations, and to list a few include the Collier County Junior Deputies, Naples Better Government, Golden Gate Civic Association President, Chairman Alligator District Boy Scouts, Chairman Conservative Collier, Vice Chair Collier County Homeless Committee, Vice Chair I-75 Interchange, and there’s several more not listed. I believe these qualities are essential for effective leadership in our state Legislature.
This election presents an important opportunity to choose a representative who will advocate for our community with integrity, transparency, and dedication. I encourage my fellow voters to learn more about Bill Poteet and consider supporting them on Election Day.
Ellen Henderson, Marco Island
