A Florida AMBER Alert was issued late afternoon July 27 for 13-year-old Juliet Arioso from Marion County. By 6:15 p.m. the Marion County Sheriff’s Office reported that Juliet has been located and is safe.
The teen was thought to be potentially abducted in Ocala and possibly in the company of 45-year-old Jason Castillo, according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.

Amber Alert issued for 13-year-old teen from Marion County
It was suspected that between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. July 27, Arioso was abducted from her home in the Shady Roads Villa community in Ocala, Florida.
Suspect is Jason Castillo, believed to be driving red Hyundai Santa Fe with Florida tag 77ERLW
The child may be in the company of 45-year-old Jason Castillo, and the pair may be traveling southbound in a 2021 red Hyundai Santa Fe with the Florida tag 77ERLW, according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.

What is an AMBER Alert?
Florida’s Amber Alert program was established in 2000 to “broadcast critical information of an abducted child as quickly as possible to the media and general public.”
The alerts are intended to inform the public across a much larger area than just the immediate location where a child disappeared.
AMBER is an acronym standing for “America’s Missing: Broadcast Emergency Response.”
