The Red Velvet Jazz Rooftop Series will return to Hotel AKA West Palm on South Olive Avenue with its next event scheduled on July 28 from 6 to 9 p.m.
The series, presented by the Rotary Club of Palm Beach, features live jazz music, rooftop views and a curated culinary experience by The Blind Monk, a tapas-style restaurant at the hotel.
Jazz vocalist Nikki Kidd to perform
The upcoming event will feature jazz vocalist Nikki Kidd. Guests can expect an intimate atmosphere inspired by the elegance of jazz culture, according to the announcement.
The Miami Beach native and University of Miami jazz alumna is recognized for her commanding stage presence, earning accolades such as “Best Jazz Act” by the Miami New Times and a spot on Legacy Magazine’s “40 Under 40” list. Over her career, Kidd has shared stages with global superstars like Gloria Estefan, Michael Bublé and Aloe Blacc.
The series began June 30 with a performance by Bianca Rosarrio & The Smooth Operators Band, where attendees enjoyed hors d’oeuvres, cocktails and networking opportunities.
Set against the backdrop of downtown West Palm Beach, the Red Velvet Jazz Rooftop Series aims to bring together music, hospitality and community while supporting the Palm Beach Rotary Club Foundation and its charitable initiatives.
The event is held on the last Tuesday of each month, with future installments scheduled for Sept. 29, Oct. 27, Nov. 24 and Dec. 29.
Tickets for the event are priced at $33 for general admission and $128 for the VIP experience. The VIP ticket includes a preshow dinner at The Blind Monk and admission to the performance. Sponsorships are also available. Guests are encouraged to embrace the evening’s red velvet-inspired dress code, featuring bold and sophisticated jazz-era style.
By bringing together music enthusiasts and community members, the series aims to create a lasting impact while providing a memorable experience. For those interested in attending, tickets can be purchased online.
