Jack's Family Restaurants to open first Florida restaurant in Milton

Jack’s Family Restaurants is opening its first Florida location of the Southern-inspired restaurant chain at 6625 Caroline St. in Milton starting at 5 a.m. Monday.

The scratch-made biscuits are the star of the show at Jack’s, and the restaurant even has a built-in biscuit-viewing window where guests can watch the magic happen.

The style of Jack’s is all about Southern comfort, featuring a dining room fireplace and warm wood tones incorporated throughout the restaurant.

For those looking to get quality food fast, customers can also use Jack’s drive-through and mobile ordering services.

For lunch and dinner, fan favorite dishes include the hand-breaded fried chicken and the made-to-order all-beef burgers, served thick and juicy. The sweet treats are also an essential part of the Jack’s experience, including their fried pies and milkshakes.

“We look forward to Jack’s becoming a place people can count on throughout the day, whether they’re stopping in for breakfast, grabbing lunch before heading out on Blackwater River, or gathering with family for dinner,” said Dana Taylor, CEO of Jack’s Family Restaurants. “We’re excited to serve the people who make Milton so special.”

Jack’s started by welcoming first responders with a free meal on March 20. The general public will gets its first look inside during the grand opening on March 23.

How did Jack’s get started?

Jack’s first opened as Jack’s Hamburgers in Homewood, Alabama, in 1960.  Since then, it has grown to offer more than 280 locations across four Southern states.

Jack’s is best-known for their burgers, fries, sodas and shakes.

When will Milton’s Jacks be open?

Starting March 23, Jack’s will be open from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Monday through Thursday, 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sunday.
