Interfaith service brings people together for fellowship in Palm Beach

Palm Beach’s faith community came together the night before Thanksgiving to celebrate the season and their shared beliefs.

The annual Interfaith Thanksgiving Service took place Nov. 26 at Temple Emanu-El and was led by that institution’s Rabbi Michael Resnick, the Rev. Robert Norris of The Royal Poinciana Chapel, the Rev. Tim Schenck of The Episcopal Church of Bethesda-by-the-Sea, and the Rt. Rev. Archimandrite Glen Pothier of the Basilica of St. Edward.

In addition to leadership from the four houses of worship, the service featured a chorus of members from Temple Emanu-El, The Royal Poinciana Chapel, The Episcopal Church of Bethesda-by-the-Sea and the Basilica of St. Edward.

The hourlong service rotates among the four institutions each year, and is open to the entire community.

After the service, people enjoyed refreshments and fellowship.
