Injury update on Bucs' Jamel Dean for Week 11 against the Buffalo Bills

Buccaneers cornerback Jamel Dean is questionable to return to Tampa Bay’s Week 11 matchup against the Buffalo Bills with a hip injury. Dean was seen walking to the locker room with a limp after the Bucs’ first defensive drive.

Dean is replaced by rookie CB Benjamin Morrison, who has rotated with Dean for much of the season. Despite the rotation, Dean has been one of the best cornerbacks in the NFL this season, recording a career-high three interceptions, including a pick-six.

In his absence, Morrison surrendered a big play to the Bills that resulted in a touchdown.

Dean struggled with injuries in recent seasons, missing nine games in the last two seasons. His health is one of the reasons why the Bucs drafted Morrison and asked Dean to take a pay cut this season. Dean responded with one of his best seasons in the NFL.
