How windy will it be at US Open today? See weather forecast

It’s not clear if anything can cool down Wyndham Clark after his 7-under par, but the stiff winds on Long Island will give it a try.

Clark carries the lead into the third round of the 2026 U.S. Open on Saturday at Shinnecock Hills, where the winds have consistently blown and have been a factor for the 156 players over the first two rounds.

Southampton weather forecast: Round 3 2026 US Open

According to Accuweather, there will be plenty of sunshine for Saturday’s Round 3 at Shinnecock Hills with a high of 77 and low of 60. The wind will continue to pose a problem, averaging 20 mph out of the north and gusts reaching speeds of 39 mph. The max UV will be 11, which demands for plenty of extra sunscreen.

Coverage of Rounds 3 and 4 of the 2026 U.S. Open will begin on USA Network at 10 a.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. Sunday before moving to NBC at 12 p.m. June 20-21. Streaming options include Fubo and Peacock.
