How to get free storage for flood victims of Tropical Storm Arthur

The first named storm of the 2026 Atlantic hurricane season, Tropical Storm Arthur, dissipated quickly after making landfall near Matagorda, Texas, on June 17. But in its short life, it brought torrential rain, flash flooding, and extreme wind conditions to southern Louisiana, southern Mississippi, southern Alabama, southwestern Georgia, and the Florida Panhandle, leaving flooded homes, property damage, and widespread power outages.

In Florida, flood warnings are still in effect for the Escambia River, affecting Escambia and Santa Rosa counties, according to a June 21 National Weather Service report. Several roadways in Santa Rosa County were closed due to flooding.
