Black, 34, is facing one count of aggravated vehicular homicide, and one count of failure to stop after an accident, court records state.

After striking and knocking Muse off of his bike, court records say Black stopped in a nearby parking lot. Muse’s hat was stuck to the front of Black’s truck but fell off when the truck hit a parking curb.

Black exited the truck with two passengers and walked towards where Muse was lying on the ground. The three got back into the vehicle and Black moved the truck several times. A passenger then exited the truck, removed pieces from the front of it, and got back into the truck.

Black then drove the truck out of the parking lot and traveled west on Harrison Avenue, investigators said.

Security footage from the surrounding area shows the events leading up to the collision and the jersey that Black was wearing, court records state. Witnesses confirmed to police that Black had driven away from the collision. Flock camera footage and witnesses confirm the front of Black’s truck had major damage, police said.

Black was arrested Sunday, June 21, and is being housed at the Hamilton County jail. He has an arraignment scheduled in Courtroom A of the Hamilton County Justice Center at 9 a.m. June 22.

A lawyer for Black is not listed on the Hamilton County Court Clerk website.
